Sika Woods *SOLD OUT*

McGuinness Mechanical Engineering Ltd have recently completed work on Phase 2 of the stunning Sika Wood Project for Winterbrook Homes. This project consisted of contemporary semi-detached and detached three and four bedroom houses. This project was led by our Senior Contracts Manager Alan McCombe and his team, Alan and team have completed this site to the highest standards of quality workmanship throughout WELL DONE!! Phase 1 consisted of 20 units and 27 in Phase 2.

MGME covered works on both phases which included:

• All bathrooms and en-suites fitted with high quality sanitary ware by Sonas
• Luxury bath and shower mixer and handset
• Thermostatically controlled high-pressure showers
• Dual flush WC cisterns
• Sonas Chrome heated towel rails
• Dikon Environmentally friendly A Rated Air to Water Heat Pump
• EPH Electronic time clock for heating and hot water
• Unmak Contemporary style radiators with individual thermostatically controlled valves
• Vent Axia Mechanical heat recovery ventilation system
• Unitherm Underfloor Heating

We love an excuse for the whole MGME team to get together and let our hair down. We were blessed with another fantastic day for our annual summer party!! A big thanks to Watchtower Adventures for the awesome paint balling where we realised we weren’t quite as fit as we thought. As well as Carlingford Adventure Centre for their Crystal Maze Challenge-we all got a little competitive. Finished off in PJ O’Hares where we enjoyed amazing food and drinks. CONGRATULATIONS to our Award Winners who’s hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed.

 

 

Well Done to our fantastic MGME football team, led by Coach Peter Loughran who recently completed in the Playr-fit Business 5 aside tournament with all fundraising going to local PIPS charity.Our team came together and put in a great fight in the knock out competition.Unfortunately, it was not to be for us and we were unlucky on this occasion, but the team are getting ready for next year’s tournament already!!!

 

2022 marks 10 years of McGuinness Mechanical Engineering!! June 2022 We launched our new brand, moving from McGuinness Plumbing Ltd to McGuinness Mechanical Engineering Ltd, as the company has grown we have developed and increased the service we offer to our clients. McGuinness Mechanical Engineering Ltd is a better representation of our current market position.

We have grown tremendously over the last 10 years evolving from a small Plumbing Company to a large Mechanical Engineering specialist capable of taking on full mechanical packages for large scale projects.

This growth has been led by our founder and MD Thomas McGuinness who has over 20 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, beginning his career as a plumbing apprentice himself, Thomas has formed a reputation among Ireland’s top Building Contractors of delivering projects of scale, complexity, and quality, in an easy to deal with manner.

Although we have changed our brand from McGuinness Plumbing Ltd to McGuinness Mechanical Engineering, we still maintain the same strong values as a team and will continue to work to these.

McGuinness Mechanical Engineering Ltd has unveiled a new brand identity, logo and tagline. We undergone a complete brand refresh to reflect our current position and offering to the market. The new branding represents the growth of the company over the past decade. Originally known as McGuinness Plumbing Ltd, we have extended our service offering to Design, supply, fit and sign off, of full Mechanical Projects to a large scale.Our new tagline Safer, Smarter, Sustainable, illustrates how we focus and prioritise safety, smarter way of working and sustainability at every opportunity in our business to our staff and clients.

McGuinness Mechanical Engineering has recorded phenomenal growth year on year since inception, increasing our turnover and growth in market share, as well as the service offering. The new brand identity reflects McGuinness Mechanical Engineering growth in size, presence, and service offering. The future lies in our unique ability to remain flexible in terms of changes to programme and always offering their experienced advice. As well as the investment that is continuously going back into the company through the introduction of Procore a project management app, continually upskilling their workforce and ensuring that our employees well-being is prioritised.

Our original logo has served McGuinness Mechanical Engineering Ltd well and we have decided not to stray too far from the colours we are synonymous with Blue and White. The new logo pays homage to our roots incorporating MG.

Ultimately it is important that McGuinness Mechanical Engineering Ltd retains its established values, but at the same time the branding needed developing to reflect the growth and offering of the company. We feel it’s important to let people know what McGuinness Mechanical Engineering Ltd stands for and the introduction of a tagline, ‘Safer, Smarter, Sustainable’ signifies what is important to us and what we represent.
